Simcoe Logistics Helping To Keep Kids On The Ball

What is one of the best ways to help your kids stay healthy and active, develop strong and positive friendships through a supportive community and have fun? Involve them in organized sports! In fact, research indicates that being involved in some type of organized sport is a great way to help build children’s self-esteem and allow them to recognize their own potential.

Recognizing the important role that organized sports plays in kid’s lives, Simcoe Logistics was thrilled to sponsor a team in the Thornton ball hockey league in the 10 – 13 year old division this year. We also had quite a blast as the team’s coach and assistant coach.

With the goal of providing opportunities for all kids to learn and play, regardless of skill level or ability, it wasn’t all about the wins on our team. Instead, our winning formula included supporting each other, being respectful of our team members and other teams, trying our best, practicing and developing our skills and having a whole lot of fun.

With these values in mind, we were able to use this ‘winning formula’ to enjoy a productive and amazing season this year. Thanks to the boys’ dedication and enthusiasm, the Simcoe Logistics team was also able to become the 2017 Kids 10 -14 year old champions.
