Simcoe Logistics Supports Rotary Club Of Barrie’s Alumni Game
Community, a great cause and hockey – every year our team at Simcoe Logistics looks forward with eager anticipation to the Rotary Club of Barrie’s Alumni Games charity event. Not only a great opportunity to see some of the best hockey players in the business, this fantastic event also provides a great way to bring together and support our amazing local community.
As a yearly event sponsor, Simcoe Logistics is proud of the fact that all funds raised from this event are used to support several important local charitable groups, organizations, causes and initiatives in the Barrie community. The list of organizations and initiatives supported by this event includes Royal Victoria Hospital, Rotary Place, the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre, Georgian College, Hospice Barrie, Gilda’s Club, The Fountain at Centennial Beach, Lakeshore trees, Fort Willow restoration and other Rotary Club of Barrie community-based initiatives.
This year’s alumni games took place Friday April, 21st 2017 at the Barrie Molson Centre and featured hockey greats and legends Rick Vaive, Wendel Clark, Craig Muni, Mark Laforest, Jack Valiquette, Greg Hotham, Darryl Shannon, Wes Jarvis, Kevin Maguire, Ric Nattress and Dmitri Mironov as they took on the Rotary All-Star team. Great hockey, a few surprise goals and some laughs made it a fun and memorable evening for all. If you missed out on this year’s game, don’t miss your opportunity to support local and cheer on your hockey hero at the 2018 Rotary Club of Barrie’s Alumni Games!
